  • FIRE STATION CONFERENCE ROOM

Per the Fire Station admin, Karry Kuntz, the conference room (formerly a Community Room with public access) at the fire station can be reserved only by the HOA or an approved government, public school or non-profit organizations who do not use the room for fundraising, political or fee-related purposes and who have the required liability insurance. If the group does not have insurance, Karry provides a link to buy it (appx. $87 for one meeting) If you are an approved organization, request a room reservation by contacting the Fire Station admin Karry Kuntz at kkuntz@mcrfd.org.

FORT ORD RESOURCE MANAGEMENT PLAN (RMP)

As of March 2023, The County is preparing a plan for certain former Fort Ord lands owned by the County (2,077 acres) as well as those owned by Monterey Peninsula College (485 acres approx.). An appropriate plan is needed to support the protection of environmental resources. The RMP must comply with state requirements as well as the Federal Endangered Species Act.
