HOA meetings, "the People's notes"

Updated: 7 days ago

Sometimes the Community Manager's HOA board meetings minutes are missing or don't capture everything. To help share perspectives and insight, this page has unofficial meeting notes from the people of East Garrison.

HOA BOARD MEETING SCHEDULE

As of January 2023, Board Meetings are every other month on the 3rd Monday at 5:30 via zoom

Agenda is posted in the MT portal 3 days prior.

3/20/23

Public comment topics:

  • Concern that cost to replace Toro irrigation controllers is too high. Would like more info about need to replace. Need better communications about process / water shut off notice

  • MT was requested to upload all the documents in MT portal (including minutes, agendas, communications, etc) that disappeared when the former community manager resigned. Veronica replied this is in process

  • Vandalism seems to be increasing. On the bluff, furniture is dumped and there's graffiti

  • Abandoned vehicle has been parked since Oct, with no response from Sheriff. Special Guest, Jeff Hoyen of Monterey County Sheriff, replied that he would look into it. and said any EG resident can reach out to him at HoyneJJ@co.monterey.ca.us He also offered his phone number, but asked it be used only in emergency as he has it on 24/7. His number is 831-238-4988. Matt Mendoza is the deputy in EG: Mendozam@co.monterey.ca.us Note: County code violations, like lighting, should be called into County, not Sheriff

Consent Calendar wasn't approved because MT didn't provide minutes from Jan. meeting
